Workloads

Hey everyone! Classes here at CWC have definitely taken off, and full workloads are bearing their weight on all the students at Central. Taking so many credits I’m finding my times of fun are flying right out the window, right alongside the warm weather.

CWC is everything I could ask for in a college and is allowing me to prepare to attend a university next fall. I feel very pleased that I made the choice to stick around my hometown and attend my first year at Central. I get to see my family every weekend and continue working as I did in high school. Also, I have been able to take many classes and find the ones that appeal to me in preparation for choosing a career. Double-majoring in math and psychology, (weird combo right?) I have made up my mind that I will continue studies in both as I transfer, with the wonderful help of Paula Hartbank, to a four-year school. I plan to either teach mathematics at the college level, obtaining an eventual PhD in math, or become a behavioral specialist, with a PhD in psychology and a minor in behaviors. CWC has definitely sparked and ignited my interests in these areas and helped me prove to myself that college is my thing and how important education is!
