Work and play

Man what a few crazy weeks this has been! Classes are heating up faster than I would have imagined. Workloads are increasing and time spent doing leisurely activities is diminishing due to the amount of homework I am receiving. That being said, I love my classes. I came into college not knowing for sure what I really wanted to do, but now that I have spent an adequate amount of time in my anatomy and physiology classes, I know for certain that I want to join the medical field in some form! That’s a big step up from not knowing whether I wanted a job in a technological, human relations, or medical field. By far my favorite class is anatomy. I have found out that I love knowing the parts of the human body. It fascinates me in ways I didn’t imagine it doing! The way I have taken to my classes and am able to handle the work load is a testament to the fact that if you do something you really enjoy then you will have no problem being successful.

While my work load the past few weeks has been rather large, I have also found time to get out and enjoy activities both on campus and in the community. This past weekend, I enjoyed the college’s new play, “The Odd Couple.” It was a job well done and I feel sorry for anybody that missed out. Never have I been to a play that CWC has put on and been disappointed.

I took my girlfriend and my cousin to this year’s edition of the corn maze (about 4 miles outside of Riverton.) I would like to take this opportunity to gloat:  This is the first time I have made it through the entire maze without cheating in some form!  It was a blast.  Anybody that reads this during the month of October should certainly take the chance to go visit the maze.

Well that’s pretty much all I have to say for now. I hope you are having as good of an experience as I am having at CWC. Happy Halloween!
