My name is Nicole, I am majoring in Art Education at CWC. I really enjoy the program, especially my painting class! I look forward to the class throughout the week. The great thing about this class is that you do not even have to be a great painter. The instructor, Matt Flint, is great at teaching his students how to paint well--even the beginners. After a couple weeks of classes, I have watched my classmates, some who have never picked up a paintbrush, become significantly better painters. While comparing our work to students in similar classes at Harvard, we all greed we were at the same skill level. The best thing about it is we are learning at a much cheaper price!
I also love this class because everyone is easy-going, we enjoy the three hours of down time together, and the opportunity to express our creativity. My instructor works so well with all of the students in his class and we are all happy to be there. He inspires me to continue in the education field!
