Lander Valley and Wind River High School students planning to enroll in college next fall and their parents are invited to free financial aid workshops provided by Central Wyoming College’s Financial Aid Office.
A session is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 7 at Lander Valley High School. A similar session is scheduled for Dec. 8 at Wind River at 6 p.m.
The workshop is not specific to CWC with information presented applicable to all colleges and universities in the nation, Financial Aid Technician Judith Nethercott explained.
She will go over the process for applying for federal financial aid and scholarships and explain how eligibility for federal aid is determined.
Nethercott emphasizes the workshops are not just for high school seniors. Anyone considering a return to education is invited.
A workshop will be held at Riverton High School’s Career Center on Jan. 19.
