Federal Student Aid

Central Wyoming College students who wish to be considered for financial aid such as Pell Grant, state grants, TRIO, student loans and/or other need-based financial assistance must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  For a list of programs and descriptions requiring students to file a FAFSA is located at http://studentaid.ed.gov/students/publications/student_guide/2009-2010/english/glance.htm
Students who wish to be considered for federal student aid must meet the following requirements:

• Have a high school or home school diploma or GED certificate
• Enrolled as part-time or full-time student in a degree/certificate program
• Student must meet CWC’s Satisfactory Academic Progress standards
• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen
• Valid Social Security number
• Must not be in default on a federal student loan
• Must comply with Selective Service registration
